This is one of my FAV TOMATO BASED RECIPES 

VARIATIONS - add more water to SANAME Flavour and make a MINCY PASTA BROTH SOUP or Serve Protein separately to rice, swap pasta for noodles or event SHREDDED LETTUCE. - whatever works for you. 

  1. Mix BEEF MINCE / PASTA, portion out for week then add different SANAME flavour Daily
  2. Cook all components separately and then add together daily for reheat with different SANAME flavour daily
  3. Use Different Noodles / Pasta instead of PENNE
  4. Combine all parts, portion out, pour in different Flavoured SANAME to each portion and keep in fridge either eat as COLD dish served over shredded iceberg lettuce or in iceberg lettuce cups or coz lettuce cups like san-chow-bao)

Best Spag Bol Penne EVER - Perfect way to Meal Prep For the Week

Ingredients:

  • MEAT - 1kg of 3 star beef mince (you need a bit of fat in there)
  • PASTA - 1/2 packet Gluten Free Penne Pasta (Aldi)
  • SOUP - SANAME - 100 Tomato Soup (The Ultimate Soup / Pasta / Tomato Base for ANY MEAL)
  • 1 x Can of Australian Diced Tomatoes
  • Worcestershire sauce: 2-3 splashes
  • Onion: 1 large BROWN, finely chopped
  • Onion: 1 large PURPLE, finely chopped
  • Garlic: 2 cloves minced (or 1/2 tbsp of minced garlic)
  • Ginger: 1-2 cms finely chopped (1/2 tbsp of minced ginger)
  • Butter: 1 tablespoon once pasta is cooked
  • Salt and black pepper: To taste
  • Fresh spring onions/chives/parsley/basil/coriander: For garnish & extra flavour (don't cook throw in raw
  • 2 x 24g SANAME Bone Broths of your choice (2 scoop) - we used Tom Yum & SUPERBONE in this recipe

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Ingredients:
    • Gluten Free Pasta takes longer to cook that normal pasta so start that first, boil water, add salt then add pasta and stir frequently so that it doesnt stick together or to the bottom of the pot
    • If you havent already got some of our delicious SANAME tomato Soup frozen then you will need extra truss tomatoes to dice up and add to the mince
  2. Cook the Aromatics (for mince/protein)
    • Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
    • Once the oil is hot, add the chopped onion and cook for 2-3 minutes until it becomes soft and translucent.
    • Add the minced garlic, minced ginger, salt & pepper and cook for an additional 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Cook the MINCE/Protein:
    • Add the Mince/Protein to the pan and sauté for 3-5 minutes, breaking apart with wooden spoon and flipping frequently, reduce heat to a simmer.
  4. Add Can of Diced Tomatoes & SANAME Tomato Soup base
    • Add the diced tomatoes and SANAME Tomato Soup Base, should be about 2cups worth (500/600ml) if you dont have this then add a 2nd can of diced tomatoes and a couple of fresh ones & stir through well
  5. SIMMER BABY SIMMER - Reduce the Juice!!!! :
    • You will want to reduce the liquid by atleast half, and get all those good juices soaking into that mince. 
    • throw in a couple of splashes of Worcestershire sauce, and a little squirt of tomato sauce if you have always done that, sometimes it can be a little hard to break these lil habits.. 
    • Add 1 x scoop of SANAME SUPERBONE and 1 x scoop of SANAME TOM YUM Flavoured Collagen Bone Broths to the mix and stir them through well, let it continue simmering for a minute then turn off the heat.
    • Throw in the spring onion and stir through RAW.
  6. STRAIN & BUTTER ME UP:
    • Taste the pasta to ensure it is cooked to your liking then strain all the hot water out, add in a tablespoon of butter and toss the pasta to ensure all have a little smidge of buttery goodness on them
    • Add freshly chopped herbs to the pasta, toss and then pour the mince into the pasta pot and mix together well & SERVE
    • Garnish with some more spring onion, basil, parsley etc & ENJOY!!!
